Battery Low Attach Plug

Battery power is low, with less than 10 minutes remaining. Attach an external power supply or power down and insert a fully charged battery.  If the concentrator will not respond to a known good battery, contact your provider for service. To purchase a new battery or an external battery charger, contact us.

Remove Battery to Cool

The battery has exceeded its charging temperature and charging has stopped. The battery will not charge while this alert is present but will begin to charge when the battery temperature returns to the normal operating range. Battery cooling will happen quicker if the battery is removed from the device and placed in an open area for approximately 10-15 minutes. If charging is desired, once the battery has cooled charge the battery with the external battery charger while powering the unit with an external power supply or a different battery. If the condition recurs, contact your provider for service. To purchase a new battery or an external battery charger, contact us.

Check Battery

Shut down the concentrator, remove the battery and reattach the battery to the concentrator. Check the connection of your battery and ensure it is properly attached and latched on the concentrator. If the problem persists, turn off the concentrator and allow the battery to charge for 4 hours. The battery can be charged through the powered off but plugged in concentrator or with the external battery charger. To purchase an external battery charger, contact us.

If the problem persists, try a different battery. If the concentrator will not respond to a known good battery, contact your provider for service. To purchase a new battery, contact us.

Oxygen Low

The concentrator is producing oxygen at a slightly lower level. The unit will continue operating normally. If the error persists, contact your provider for service.

Sensor Fail

The unit will still operate normally, but oxygen concentration can no longer be internally monitored.

Shut down the concentrator and then restart. If the problem persists, contact your provider for service.

Service Soon

The concentrator requires servicing at the earliest convenience. The concentrator is operating to specification and may continue to be used. Contact your provider to arrange for service.

Replace Columns

Column maintenance is required within 30 days. To purchase new columns, contact us.

Replacing Columns Instructions:

  1. Turn off the OxyGo concentrator by pressing the power button
  2. Remove the concentrator from the carry case, if applicable
  3. Remove the battery from the concentrator by pressing and holding the battery latch button and sliding the battery off
  4. Place the concentrator on its side so that the underside is visible. The metal column assembly can be seen on one side of the device
  5. Unlock the column assembly by pushing the latch button away from the columns
  6. While holding the button open, slide the column assembly out of the device by pulling on the column pull handle
  7. Remove the columns completely from the device, both columns are removed as one piece
  8. Remove the four dust caps, two at the top of the columns and two near the bottom, making sure there is no dust or debris where the dust caps were located
  9. As soon as the dust caps are removed, insert the column assembly into the OxyGo.
  10. Push the column assembly into the device such that the columns are fully seated into the OxyGo and the spring loaded latch button has fully returned to the closed position.

Once columns are replaced with new columns, reset the system software by performing the following reset operation:

  1. Turn off the concentrator and plug in external power.
  2. Hold the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons down for 5 seconds.

Oxygen Error

Oxygen output has been below 50% for 10 minutes. If alert persist, switch to your backup oxygen source and contact your provider for service.

No Breath Detect Check Cannula

The concentrator will produce automatic pulses of oxygen at a constant breath rate.

Check that the cannula is connected, that there are no kinks, and that the cannula is positioned properly in the user’s nose. Once an adequate breath is detected, the unit will exit adaptive autopulse and the message will be cleared.

The audible alert associated with this error will only occur when No Breath Detect mode is enabled. The user can disable this mode by holding down the alarm button for 2 seconds.

Battery HOT Warning

Battery has exceeded temperature limit while concentrator is running on battery power. If possible, move concentrator to a cooler location or power unit with an external poser supply and remove the battery to cool. If this error persists, contact your provider for service.

02 Delivery Error

A breath has been recognized, but proper oxygen delivery has not been detected. Check that the cannula is connected, that there are no kinks, and that the cannula is positioned properly in your nose. If error persists, contact your provider for service

Battery Empty Attach Plug

Concentrator has insufficient battery power to produce oxygen. System will shut down quickly. Attach the power supply or exchange the battery and restart. To purchase batteries, chargers, or an external battery charger, contact us.

System Error

Remove power and the battery and restart the concentrator. If the error repeats after several attempts, switch to backup oxygen source and contact your provider for service.

System COLD

Allow the concentrator to warm up in a room temperature environment for approximately 10 minutes and then restart the concentrator. If the error persists, contact your provider for service.

Battery HOT

Battery has exceeded temperature limit while concentrator is running on battery power. Concentrator has stopped producing oxygen. Move the concentrator to a cooler location, power off, and back on. Ensure air intake and outlet vents have clear access and particle filters are clean. If possible, attach the unit to external power or replace with a new battery and remove the battery to cool. If this error persists, contact your provider for service.

Concentrator does not turn on using the AC power

Check if concentrator runs on battery if battery is not depleted.

Check for the presence of a Green LED on the power supply.

If a Green LED is present on the power supply, inspect the cord, barrel plug, and receptacle on the concentrator for damage and replace if necessary.

If no LED Is present on the power supply, try a different AC outlet.

Concentrator runs on battery power when plugged into the CLA in the car

Ensure that the car is running and that the input to the system is greater than 12V DC.

Cigarette lighter outlet must be capable of 10A load. The power outlet should be rated at 120 Watts 12V.

Try an alternate power outlet in the car or have a dedicated power outlet installed by an auto mechanic.

A battery is installed but the battery icon does not appear on the LCD screen

Turn off the concentrator and remove the battery and remove the power plug from the concentrator. Reinstall the battery and the power plug. Verify that the battery charges or indicates battery full. If the battery does not charge or indicate it is fully charged while the concentrator is in standby mode, replace the battery. To purchase a new battery, click here
